Lowe Lintas, TAG, JWT, Wieden + Kennedy, and Grey Worldwide are in the fray for the creative account of ESPN Champions League T20, according to senior sources in the industry. Decision on the agency is expected next week.

Though the account size could not be ascertained, it is believed to be sizable.

The pitch took place in the last week of May. The brief given to the agencies taking part in the pitch was to keep consumers’ interest alive in cricket matches, especially soon after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League and Twenty20 World Cup tournaments.

The campaign will be a 360 degree initiative involving print, TV, radio, OOH and BTL activities.

The Champions League Twenty20 is an international cricket tournament involving teams from India, Australia, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and West Indies. The competition was launched in 2008 as a response to the success of the Twenty20 domestic cricket leagues, most notably the Indian Premier League.
