Sony India, one of the largest players in consumer electronics and IT products segment, is said to be reviewing the creative duties of its entire product portfolio. Some of Sony India’s brands, in highly competitive categories, include the likes of Bravia, Vaio, Cybershot, Handicam and Walkman.

A source close to the development informed, “The review is part of an annual process at Sony India.”

It is understood that at least four agencies, apart from the incumbent JWT India, are participating in the pitch process. These include Dentsu India, Percept, Contract and Lowe Lintas.

Earlier this year, Sony invested upwards of Rs. 150 crore in a 360-degree multi-media campaign ‘The Rebirth. LED TV’. This included ATL & BTL activities such as television and print commercial, online, PR, outdoor and shop-front.
