BARC Week 49: Amazon India enters Top 10 Brands and Advertisers after a hiatus

Reckitt Benckiser dropped to the third spot after a long hiatus with 34,735 insertions in BARC's Top 10 Advertiser

Videocon D2H continued to lead BARC’s Top 10 Brands for Week 49 (December 2-8, 2017) with 13,367 insertions. Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Airtel Prepaid Promise and Trivago climbed up to the second, third and fifth spot with 11,181, 10,575 and 9114 insertions respectively. HP Racer slipped to the fourth spot with 9360 insertions. Amazon Prime Video entered the sixth spot with 8520 insertions.

Vivo V7/V7 Plus, Sprite and Horlicks entered the category at the seventh, ninth and tenth spot with 7790, 7187 and 6758 insertions respectively. Dove Cream Bathing Bar slipped to the eighth spot with 7683 insertions.

Meanwhile, in the Top 10 Advertisers list, FMCG majors Hindustan Lever continued to take the first spot with 11,8278 insertions. Procter & Gamble climbed to the second spot with 39,308 insertions while Reckitt Benckiser dropped to the third spot after a long hiatus with 34,735 insertions.

Patanjali Ayurved and Brooke Bond Lipton retained its fourth and sixth spot with 25,576 and 20,893 insertions respectively. Cadbury India slipped to the fifth spot with 25,142 insertions.

Dabur India, Amazon Online India and Colgate Palmolive India entered the list at the seventh, eighth and tenth spot with 20412, 19,610 and 17,418 insertions respectively.

Godrej Consumer Products climbed to ninth spot with 18,171 insertions.
