IMPACT, the weekly magazine from exchange4media Group, is coming up with a special edition to recognise and acknowledge the immense contribution, inspiring leadership and remarkable body of work of 50 trail-blazing women professionals in the Indian media, advertising and marketing world.
To rank the achievers and create this list, an elaborate selection process involving a high-powered Jury was conducted. The jury was chaired by Sam Balsara, Chairman, Madison World. The other Jury members were Colvyn Harris, CEO, JWT; Arvind Sharma, Chairman and CEO, Leo Burnett; Shashi Sinha, CEO, Lodestar UM; and media veteran Pradeep Guha.
The selection entailed a two-tier process based on set parameters – the first round involved an animated debate and detailed discussion on each nominee by the jury, followed by a silent voting in the second round. The jury that had the formidable task of ranking the top 50 achievers admitted it was a daunting task in view of the incredible achievements and body of work of these trail-blazing women, each a role model in her own right.
This list of the top 50 influential women will be unveiled in a special edition at a ground event in the third week of March in Mumbai. This event quite aptly taking place in the month of March, which celebrates Women’s Day, is all set to be a glittering ceremony and a step forward in recognising the achievements of these powerful inspiring women professionals, their milestones, and body of work, which have had a significant impact on the industry.
