Mallikarjun Das joins Star India
This is Das' first venture into the broadcasting sector, after having close to 20 years in the media and advertising field.
Mallikarjun Das, former CEO, Starcom India has joined Star India as a senior member of its Sales and Strategy team.
A source close to the development has confirmed the news to exchange4media.
Das was the group CEO of Starcom India for last seven years.
Das holds a Graduate degree in Statistics and has a Post Graduate degree in Management from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.
He first began his career working with the global advertising agency, Leo Burnett from 1997-2000, after which he worked with Madison Media from 2003-2005. He then joined Starcom in 2011 as CEO. He has also has experience in branding through his associations with Asian paints and Tata Interactive Services.
