Rajendra Dwivedi, Vice President, Starcom Worldwide, Mumbai, passed away in a road accident in Mumbai on September 30, 2012. His last rites are being held in Ahmedabad on October 1.
Dwivedi is survived by his young family.
Incidentally, Dwivedi is the second person in recent times to have lost his life in a road accident. SS Balaji, Senior Vice President at Bates (OOH), also lost his life on September 6 in an accident while driving from Bangalore to Wayanad in Kerala.
Dwivedi joined Starcom Worldwide in August last year. Prior to that he was General Manager, Maxus Mumbai.
His earlier stints included Client Leader - New Business Development at GroupM;
Group Business Manager, SureWaves; Business Director at GroupM; Media Controller, Manager at Universal McCann (now Lodestar UM); and Senior Media Planning Executive at Mudra Communications.
