‘Shashi Sinha smoothly manages diverse opinions while ensuring a consensus is achieved’
Hemant Malik, Wholetime Director on the Board of ITC & Divisional Chief Executive-Foods at ITC Ltd., reflects on his years of friendship and partnership with Sinha
"I have known Shashi Sinha since we started the food business at ITC," said Hemant Malik, Wholetime Director on the Board of ITC and Divisional Chief Executive-Foods at ITC Ltd, at the AAAI Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony.
"It's truly an honour for me to be here and to reflect on our many years of friendship," he remarked.
“Shashi was my gateway to this world; I was living in Bangalore and before that in Calcutta, not knowing this, this world of Bombay."
Malik revealed that Sinha was the friend who advised him to join the Media Research Users Council India (MRUC) and also brought him into the Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC).
"I learned so much just observing how smoothly he was able to manage diverse opinions while ensuring that a consensus can be achieved. I think that is the hallmark of his relationship with everybody.”
