Sources have told exchange4media that The Hindu Group has called for a creative pitch in Chennai. Ogilvy is the incumbent agency which has been working on the brand’s campaigns. The Hindu Group has had a six-year-long relationship with Ogilvy in Bangalore. Ogilvy will be part of the pitch. Sources say agencies like Famous Innovations and Madison will also be participating in the pitch.

Some of the campaigns that Ogilvy has worked on for The Hindu include #TheOtherObituary, sharing a powerful message on World Wildlife Conservation Day mourning the loss of flora and fauna that were killed due to human intervention, ‘Classroom’ which urged ‘politicians to behave, because the youth are watching’, ‘The Inconsiderate Planet’ and many more.
