Samsung Ads India has announced the appointment of Vignesh V as Director, Ad Sales for the region. With more than two decades of experience across media sales, product and revenue strategy, global syndication, P&L leadership, and strategic partnerships, he brings a strong track record of driving growth and building high-performing teams.
Welcoming him to the organisation, Samsung Ads APAC said the leadership addition comes at a pivotal time as the company continues to expand its Connected TV footprint in India. Vignesh is expected to play a key role in strengthening client partnerships and shaping revenue strategy in the fast-evolving CTV landscape.
Vignesh joins Samsung Ads from JioStar, where he served as Senior Vice President overseeing digital and television ad sales, global syndication, and international distribution for platforms including JioCinema and Sports18.
Before JioStar, he spent several years at The Walt Disney Company (Star Sports/Hotstar) in roles across sales, strategy, brand solutions, GTM, and revenue management. He led cross-screen sales initiatives, managed P&L across major sports properties, and drove strong sales performances through innovative brand solutions. His earlier stints include Amazon, where he worked on strategic partnerships, and key leadership roles across Star TV Network, handling product revenue strategy and sports portfolio development.
