Netflix India has confirmed that Monika Shergill will join the OTT player as Head, Series International Originals, Netflix India.
Earlier, Shergill worked with Viacom18 Digital Ventures as Executive Vice President & Head, Content and prior to this, she had worked with Star India Pvt. Ltd. She joined Star India in 2007 as Programming Head, Star One. She was with Star India until 2015 as Creative Consultant.
Prior to that, Shergill was Associate Creative Director, Fiction Programming with Sony Entertainment Television.
