According to media reports, former WPP chief, Sir Martin Sorrell, is believed to have appointed former Global Chief Growth Officer of GroupM’s Performance Media Group (PMG), Michel de Rijk as Chief Executive of S4Capital’s Asia-Pacific operations.
De Rijk who left PMG last month, worked out of WPP's Singapore office and was also previously the Chief Executive Officer of Xaxis Asia Pacific, another WPP company.
The appointment follows S4Capital's acquisition of the digital production agency MediaMonks in a fiercely contested bid between S4Capital and WPP earlier this year.
The Martin Sorrell led S4Capital posted strong revenue figures showing a 45 per cent growth of €29.3m (£26.2m) and a gross profit jump of 32 per cent €20.4m (£18.3m) earlier this month.
