The Indian PC market, including desktops, notebooks and servers, grew by 34.6 per cent during the second quarter of 2004, said IT analyst firm Gartner on Thursday. Over 7.6 lakh units were shipped in Q2 during which India garnered a 9.23 per cent market share in the Asia Pacific region, Gartner said.

IBF sets up a sub-committee, presents unified face
IBF, at its board meeting on Tuesday, has set up an eight-member sub-committee to evaluate and discuss issues that impact broadcasters, including the issue of Free-to-Air (FTA) and Pay Channels. Speaking exclusively to exchange4media, Naresh Chahal, Director-Finance, IBF, said, “The report in certain media about two sub-committees are misleading and there is no truth in that.”
