Percept adds Rs 40 crore to its annualized billings

Percept has bagged the creative duties of Mahananda Dairy, Kingsbury personal and home care products and Arlem Breweries. This development was confirmed by Rajesh Pant, CEO, Percept who stated on the occasion, “The newly bagged accounts ought to add at least Rs 40 crore to Percept’s annualized billings. And these are brands which are doing considerably well in the local market “.

P&G aims at 25% share of Indian hair-care market

FMCG major Procter & Gamble India is aiming at 25 per cent share of the Rs 1,100-crore hair-care market this fiscal. Executive Director Ashok Chhabra says the hair care market is growing at a rate of seven per cent per annum, and the introduction of the new Pantene range and the acquisition of brands like 'Wella and Clairol will help in increasing market share.

Sahara Manoranjan is quietly dropping several of its mega Hindi film star-based programmes. “Karishma”, the serial in which Karishma Kapoor acts, is going off air by November. “Saheb Biwi Aur Ghulam”, which stars Raveena Tandon, has already gone off the air after completing 104 episodes.
