OMS has just bagged the Rs 12-15 crore media planning account of Dabur-South. It won the account in a final round of pitching against Maxus.

The pitch came about following the decision by Dabur India to consolidate all media planning acitivities in the South for all its brands under a new division, Dabur-South, in order to tackle the southern market where it has been relatively weak.

Confirming the news to exchange4media after the deal was signed, Kajal Thakur, Regional Director, OMS Delhi, said, "We won this prestigious account because of our better understanding of the southern media market. Another factor that gave us an edge was our division called Brandcast, through which OMS can provide tailormade media brand initiatives. Brandcast looks at each brand independently."

Thakur also said that OMS had won two other media planning and buying accounts in the last one month: it became the AOR for Nutrine worth Rs 10 crore plus, and ACC worth Rs 5-10 crore.

Last year, OMS was appointed media planning AOR for Dabur's Oral Care account which is worth upwards of Rs 15 crore. OMS also handles the media planning for Dabur's Digestive products (Pudin Hara, Hajmola candy).
