Leo Burnett, O&M and JWT bring home Cannes Lions

The first two awards -- Media Lion and Lions Direct -- didn’t have anything for Team India to cheer for. Ditto for the Cyber Lions awards. However, the Press and Outdoor segments have brought some good news with three Indian entries bagging a Lion each. The winning agencies are JWT Chennai for a Press award and Leo Burnett and O&M for Outdoor.

SaharaOne appoints new PR & Publicity Head

SaharaOne has appointed Pawan Chawla as new PR and Publicity Head. Chawla has nine years of work experience at SET and five years of active journalism. Chawla will work closely with the marketing heads of Sahara India Entertainment Management Company Limited (SIEMCL) businesses in Mumbai and will be responsible for the success of their PR and Corporate Communications.

Lowe Kolkata bags Polar account

Lowe Kolkata has recently acquired the account of Polar International. Earlier, Eqqus Delhi handled Polar’s account. The shift in the agency happened after a pitch but the client spokesperson was not willing to name the other agencies, which had pitched for the account.
