SST Media is part of the Xenitis Group, which will be launching the dedicated Bengali news channel, Kolkata Television. Shweta Rathee is all set to join Sony Entertainment Television as AVP-Ad Sales, North. Rathee who brings with her around eight years of experience, will primarily look after AXN and PIX. PIX is the new English movie channel from Sony, which will be launched on April 1. Rathee began her career with Asian Age and was there for three years. The last position that she held there was that of Deputy Manager-Sales. Rathee then moved to STAR, where she spent five years.

Agarwal is a 1976 batch IES (Indian Engineering Service) officer. Prior to joining Radio City, Agarwal was General Manager, BECIL for 27 years. When we launched Outlook, we launched it as a weekly news magazine, they were a fortnightly at that time. When we launched Outlook Money, we launched it as a personal finance magazine, I did not ask them to start a personal finance column in Business Today or India Today. I started Outlook Traveller as a travel magazine, if they changed India Today Plus to Travel Plus, it’s not my problem. I have been identifying issues and going ahead with that. If they want to follow us, if they want to change the way they look at journalism, then God bless them. I think there is space for the two of us and maybe more.
