While every channel is busy lining up a variety of shows to welcome the New Year ranging from recaps of 2006 to countdown shows to film-based shows, Ten Sports is out to pep things up a bit with its exclusive coverage of WWE Armageddon. The channel will air the three-hour long wrestling extravaganza on December 31 at 11 am.
Vijay TV to usher in 2007 with James Bond
Following the success of theBond series on STAR Movies, Vijay TV is gearing up for a mega Bond series in Tamil. The channel has lined up an array of Bond movies to usher in New Year beginning with ‘Goldfinger’ on January 1, 2007, followed by ‘Diamonds Are Forever’, ‘Octopussy’, ‘The Living Daylights’ and ‘Die Another Day’ in January 2007.

Big 92.7 FM’s National Alliances Head, Rahul Upadhyay, has put in his papers. He was with the Adlabs backed station since March 2006 and was reporting to Anand Chakravarthy, Head of Marketing. The FM station informed that there were no replacements planned immediately for the post left vacant by him.

He can't buy our media business because it's a conflict of interest, competition issues and because he is so bored with it and he has spent so much of money on each acquisition!
