Publicis Groupe has acquired majority stake in Delhi-based Capital Advertising. Capital will continue to operate autonomously, but will be aligned with the Asia operations of Publicis Worldwide. Capital’s founding Directors Sunil Sachdeva and Prasad Subramaniam will report to Matthew Godfrey, CEO, Publicis Asia.

UTStarcom Inc., a global company in IP-based, end-to-end networking solutions and services, has announced a contract to supply its end-to-end IPTV solution RollingStream to Bharti Airtel. ILT 2006 Wave 4: Kolkata data released; Radio Mirchi tops the charts
MRUC has released the ILT (Indian Listenership Track) results for 2006 Wave 4. Since Wave 4 for Mumbai and Delhi was released in May 2007, the data released now is only for Kolkata. This data shows an increase in listenership for Radio Mirchi in Kolkata. Big FM continues to follow at a distant second place. The biggest gainer is the recently launched Friends FM.
