NK Goila has retired from Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) as VP and Director. He was one of the founding members of HSCI. Goila was instrumental in facilitating Honda’s entry into India through the joint venture partnership with Siel Group, beginning with Honda Siel Power Products followed by Honda Siel Cars India. Goila is succeeded by Raman Kumar Sharma, who has been promoted to Vice President and Director, HSCI. Out of his 40 long years of work experience, Goila has spent over 23 years with Honda projects and ventures in India. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director on board of Usha International, Mawana Sugars and Shriram Group Companies.

Ajit Singh, Manjula Mani

ASCI launches Copy Advice service to nip problems in the bud

The Advertising Standards Council of India’s (ASCI) Board has decided to launch a Copy Advice service for its members from May 1, 2008. The purpose of ASCI’s Copy Advice service is to prevent problems before they happen. This benefits not only the advertiser, agency and media immediately concerned, but also the wider advertising industry, by avoiding complaints and promoting social and consumer responsibility.
