The music reality show Idea Star Singer kicked off its fourth season this week in the presence of cine actress Navya Nair, Jury members including music composer Sharreth and playback singers K. S. Chithra and M.G.Sreekumar and the head honchos of Asianet. Forty eight contestants from across Kerala have been shortlisted for this year’s competition. Apart from the jury members, prominent personalities from film industry will attend as celebrity guest. The audition was conducted in all major cities in Kerala and abroad. Asianet will telecast 'Idea Star Singer Season 4', every Monday to Friday at 8.30 PM.

Upgrading its telecom offering, BSNL has launched its 3G-enabled Blackberry service, which claims to offer a distinct edge over the competition. The company has come up with a new TVC to support the launch, which has been conceptualised by PerceptH. The sharp, fast-paced TVC features Olympian Abhinav Bindra as the protagonist.

Prior to joining Indian Express, Jaitly was with Dainik Bhaskar Corp (DB Corp) as President, Marketing and Ad Sales.
