IRS 2009 R2: The magazine total readership story not a happy one?blur=25

Whereas the dailies saw some growth in Round 2 of IRS 2009, the magazines continued to register decline in this round as well, with the exception of Vanitha, which has a total readership of 59.7 lakh as against 57.4 lakh in 2008 R2. Saras Salil maintains its lead among the magazines, with India Today being the only English magazine in the Top 10 list.

The ‘loans’ category contributed 21 per cent to the overall advertising of ‘Banking & Finance Services’ in print during January-September ’09.
