Meta announces updates for Threads
Move aimed at accelerating the usage of Threads application by content creators
Meta has introduced updated for its recently launched application Threads. The social networking service, which was said to be launched in direct competition to X, will now be available on web. A user doesn’t have to download the app and can now access Threads via a browser.
Additionally, a search feature has been introduced on Threads to look for various topics that interest the user. This feature will be available only on mobile version and aims to accelerate community building for creators
Introduction of voice threads has also been done by Meta recently to easily express via voice notes.
The announcement was made at Meta's IGU Delhi edition.
