Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, in their endeavour to promote worthy business ideas is back once again this year with ‘WagonR Think Big Challenge 2’. Launching on January 21, 2011, ‘WagonR Think Big Challenge 2’ is an initiative to bring out the most innovative and unique business ideas by acting as a platform for all those who are looking for a support to start with.
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, in their endeavour to promote worthy business ideas is back once again this year with ‘WagonR Think Big Challenge 2’. Launching on January 21, 2011, ‘WagonR Think Big Challenge 2’ is an initiative to bring out the most innovative and unique business ideas by acting as a platform for all those who are looking for a support to start with.
The campaign would begin on a pan-India basis with online registrations of business ideas from 19 cities wherein ten participants will be selected from each city on the basis of their business proposal. One winner from each city will be selected in the main city round. These 19 people will make it to the zonal round from which four participants from each zone will make it to the national round. These aspiring entrepreneurs will be mentored by management gurus and will be judged by an exclusive panel at each step of this campaign. The winner of this challenge would be presented with a WagonR, Rs 10 lacs cash prize and venture capital.
Expressing his views, Chief GM Marketing, Maruti Suzuki, Shashank Srivastava said “Unlike other challenges, ‘WagonR Think Big Challenge 2’, does not stop at business ideas. Multiple tests will be conducted at each stage of the activity to check skill sets needed for taking the business ideas to execution. Mentoring sessions will be given for the chosen few before they meet venture capitalists to present their business proposals. This is a unique platform for winners to present their ideas to investors for seed capital”.
