e4m IDMA 2024: Marico takes home gold metal for its Saffola campaign

The 15th edition of the Indian Digital Marketing Awards (IDMA) on July 19 honoured the path-breaking work done by brands and agencies in the digital media ecosystem. Among the top brands that took home gold metals was Marico Limited that took home the gold metal for its ‘Saffola - Inspiring Young India to take Roz Ka Healthy Step’ campaign. The brand bagged the metal under the ‘Best Website/ Microsite’ sub-category. The media campaign was executed by Madison Media.

The awards night celebrated the brands and agencies for their innovation and creativity in curating insightful and impressive campaigns. At the spectacular awards night, top brands and agencies from the marketing and advertising world bagged metals for their impressive marketing strategies. The innovative media campaign by Marico received a thunderous response in the quest of asking people to adopt healthier lifestyle.

The brand rolled out the Saffola 40 Under 40 campaign which aimed at inspiring young Indians to prioritise their health. The movement commences with 40 young achievers from varied fields, all of whom are under 40 years of age, taking part in the journey of health by adopting Roz Ka Healthy Step and inspiring India to eat better and live healthier.

The movement was designed to remind young and mid-career individuals to take note of their health, even as several other priorities of life such as jobs, careers, children, ageing parents, etc. demand their time. This lack of focus on health has led to a significant rise in lifestyle diseases like obesity, heart disease, and diabetes impacting young Indians.

The e4m IDMA 2024 jury this year was chaired by Suresh Narayanan- Chairman & Managing Director, Nestlé India. The Indian Digital Marketing Awards selected the winners across eight prime categories - Web, Mobile and Tablets, Social Media, Search and PPC campaigns, For Small Medium Business, For Start-Ups, Hall Of Fame Awards and Special Awards.
