Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the nation on Thursday night asked the citizens of the country to observe a self-imposed curfew ‘Janata Curfew’ this Sunday from 7am to 9pm in the wake of the coronavirus threat.
On March 22, at 5pm, the PM said the entire nation should come together to express their gratitude to all those who have been working to keep the country running.
Modi said the citizens should stay vigilant and avoid stepping out of their homes unless ‘absolutely essential’.
Senior citizens should stay indoors only as per the health advisory. The PM has urged everyone to be responsible to help the nation battle the coronavirus crisis.
