After Indian Super League and Pro-Kabaddi League, Amitabh Bachchan may be planning to invest in the Indian Premier League (IPL), as per media reports.

The Bachchan family reportedly first approached Chennai Super Kings but the talks did not materialise. They have now started negotiations with Rajasthan Royals.

They are now associated with ISL’s Chennayin FC and Pro-Kabaddi League franchise Jaipur Pink Panthers.
“Yes, Abhishek (Bachchan) met Manoj Badale in London some time ago,” AB Corp CEO Ramesh Pulapaka has been quoted as saying.

There are talks of other investors entering the IPL market.

The Bollywood family is reportedly eyeing a brand-endorsing function in a franchise which has a minority stakeholding in the league.
