Prasar Bharati invites applications for MPEG-2 slots on DD Free Dish platform
Private satellite TV channels to be allowed interim placement on pro-rata basis from Jan 26 to Feb 28
Prasar Bharati has invited applications from private satellite TV channels to fill up MPEG-2 slots on DD Free Dish platform for interim placement on a pro-rata basis for the period January 26 to February 28.
The allocation of the slots will be done as per Revised Policy Guidelines (Annexure-2 Clause (r) inclusive of sub clauses (i) to (iii)).
Prasar Bharati has asked interested private satellite TV channels to submit their applications along with all requisite documents and demand drafts or fee on or before January 24 latest by 12 noon.
The e-auction, if required, will be held on January 24 itself, Prasar Bharati has said.
The terms and conditions for the pro-rata application process have been put up on Doordarshan and Prasar Bharati websites http://doordarshan.gov.in and http://prasarbharati.gov.in.
