BARC Week 52: Star Bharat tops (U+R) Hindi GEC

Meanwhile Colors and Zee Anmol takes over the urban and rural market respectively

Star Bharat continued to dominate Hindi GEC with 692154 (000s) impressions with its fiction drama ‘Kya Haal Mr Panchaal’ taking the third spot in the top five programming list with 10093 Impressions (000s) on Week 52 (December 23-29).

Zee TV’s prime time show ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ bagged top two spots this week with 12332 impressions (000s) and 11468 Impressions (000s) respectively. Its other property ‘Mahek’ grabbed the fourth spot with 9737 impressions (000s). SET’s ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ took the fifth spot with 9185 impressions (000s). The channel slipped to the fifth spot with 591855 (000s) impressions

Colors retained its third spot with 600546 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Utsav which climbed on to the fourth spot with improved 600396 impressions (000s).


Urban Market
Colors maintained its leadership position with 438891 Impressions (000s) against 437673 Impressions (000s) in last week followed by Zee TV with 354527 Impressions (000s).


Zee TV’s ‘Kundali Bhagya’ and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ took the top two spots in the top 5 programs with 7269 Impressions (000s) and 7011 impressions (000s). Sab TV’s ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ climbed the third spot with 6749 Impressions (000s).

Star Plus slipped to third spot with 353989 impressions (000s) followed by Star Bharat and Sony Entertainment Television which retained their fourth and fifth spot with 334751 impressions (000s) and 298884 impressions (000s).

Star Plus’ ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ retained its fourth spot with 6361 impressions (000s) while SET’s ‘Super Dancer Chapter 2’ took the fifth spot with 6241 impressions (000s).

Rural Market
Zee Anmol continues to top the rural market chart with 513156 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Utsav at number two spot with 436095 Impressions (000s).
Zee Anmol’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ took the top spot in the Top 5 Programs with 7179 impressions (000s) while Rishtey’s ‘Tere Naal Ishq’ slipped to second slot this week with 6587 Impressions (000s). Sony Pal’s ‘Balveer’ and Star Utsav’s ‘Iss Pyar Ko Kya Naam Doon- Ek Baar Fir’ retained third and fourth spot with 6271 and 6084 and impressions (000s). 


Sony Pal’s other prime property ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma’ climbed the fifth spot with 5735 Impressions (000s).
Sony Pal retained its third spot with 377872 Impressions (000s) followed by Star Bharat on fourth and Rishtey on the fifth with 357402 and 332561 impressions (000s) respectively.
