Sony Pal replaces Star Bharat to lead in U+R market: BARC week 9

Star Bharat grabbed the second slot this week with 750429 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol on third position with 682244 million impressions

In week 9 of Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) all India data, Sony Pal emerged as the number one channel in the overall market. The channel garnered leadership position with 753407 million impressions. Star Bharat grabbed the second spot this week with 750429 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol on third spot with 682244 million impressions and Star Utsav on fourth spot with 530012 million impressions. Zee TV stood on number five with 522300 million impressions.

Zee TV’s Kundali Bhagya continued to led the top five programme list with 12537 million impressions followed by Zee Anmol’s popular drama Kumkum Bhagya with 11610 million impressions on second slot and Sony Pal’s CID on third spot with 10014 million impressions.

Sony TV’s Super Dancer and Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya bagged the fourth and fifth spots with 9817 million impressions and 9630 million impressions respectively.

Hindi GEC Rural

Zee Anmol continued to lead the rural market with 532931 million impressions followed by Sony Pal on second position with 517747 million impressions and Star Bharat on third spot with 402760 million impressions.

Zee Anmol’s Kumkum Bhagya led the top five programme list with 9563 million impressions followed by Sony Pal’s Baalveer and CID on second and third spots with 7117 million impressions and 6914 million impressions respectively. Also Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah garnered 6744 million impressions on fourth spot and Ganga on Zee Anmol stood at number five with 6012 mn impressions.

Star Utsav and Rishtey grabbed fourth and fifth spots with 384218 million impressions and 307442 million impressions respectively.

Hindi GEC Urban 
Colors garnered the leadership position in urban market in week 9 of BARC with 350778 million impressions. Star Bharat maintained its second position with 347669 million impressions followed by Star Plus on third spot with 316171 million impressions and Zee TV on fourth with 309461 million impressions.

Zee TV Kundali Bhagya bagged the top slot with 7544 million impressions followed by Sab TV's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah on second slot with 6461 million impressions and Sony TV Super Dancer Chapter 2 on third spot with 6263 million impressions. Star Plus’ Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Zee TV's Kumkum Bhagya grabbed fourth and fifth slots with 6206 million impressions and 5750 million impressions respectively.

Sony Entertainment Television stood on rank five with 309461 million impressions.
