Flipkart’s SVP - Growth & Monetisation and Shopsy head, Prakash Sikaria, will be exiting the company.

Sikaria was also in-charge of other verticals like, ReCommerce and travel (Cleartrip and Flipkart travel), among others.

Announcing his decision to move on, Sikaria posted on LinkedIn, “This July I completed 8 years at Flipkart. Through these years, I don't remember a single day when I was not fascinated by this amazing institution. It's a unique trifecta of Audacity, Scale & Hustle - a true unicorn in every sense.”

“It has inspired me to fearlessly dream big. As I thought about the next 10 years and where the Indian digital ecosystem is headed, starting up seemed right. Hence, I have decided to move on from Flipkart to startup. Over the next few months I would be transitioning my existing responsibilities to new leaders at Flipkart. Excited about what's coming next,” he wrote.

Sikaria joined Flipkart in June 2014 as a director leading marketing planning and analysis.

According to media reports, Adarsh Menon, who was earlier leading Flipkart Wholesale, will take over Shopsy, ReCommerce and travel portfolio. Koteshwar L N will now be heading Flipkart Wholesale.
