Gurjot Shah Singh of Dentsu moves on after 8-year stint
Singh was elevated as Isobar India’s Executive Vice President - Media in March
Highly placed sources have told exchange4media that Gurjot Shah Singh, Executive Vice President, Media at Isobar India, has decided to quit Dentsu.
Singh has been with the company for more than eight years. Just earlier in March, Singh was elevated to his current role. This was after Dentsu Creative Group India centralized its digital media services across all its agencies and capabilities under the Isobar India group. Prior to that, Singh was the Executive Vice President and National Media Head at Dentsu Webchutney, which has seen a spate of exits recently.
Singh has been instrumental in the success of iProspect, Dentsu Webchutney, and now Isobar, over the years. In the last decade, he has worked on several award-winning campaigns and consulted over 250 brands, including Ather Energy, Honda bikes, Uber, Max life insurance, IndusInd Bank, Whirlpool, Canon, Flipkart, Under Armour, British council, Air India, Sony Pictures, to name a few.
At Webchutney, Gurjot built the media practice ground up and scaled it to upwards of Rs 100 crore along with redefining the dynamics of media by bringing creative and media closer to solve business problems. Now he is believed to be moving on to the next role within the digital marketing industry.
exchange4media reached out to the Dentsu leadership that confirmed the development and wished him all the best. Singh, however, was unavailable for comment at the time of filing the story.
