Partho Banerjee replaces Shashank Srivastava as Maruti Suzuki's Head-Marketing & Sales

Carmaker Maruti Suzuki has announced a reshuffling in its leadership in its latest regulatory filing. Shashank Srivastava has been replaced by Partho Banerjee as the company's new Head of Marketing and Sales. Banerjee was previously the Head-Service.
Srivastava is now designated as a Member of the Executive Committee. The changes in the Senior Management Personnel will come into effect from April 1, 2024.
Banerjee has been with MSIL for the past 34 years where he began his career. He has worked across various verticals in MSIL including Sales, Marketing and Production Engineering. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Technology from IIT, Kanpur.
Ram Suresh Akella will be taking over from Banerjee as the new Head of Service. Akella is presently Executive Officer in Marketing Vertical. He has been with MSIL for over 31 years where he began his career. He has worked in various areas such as Sales and Network Head at Arena channel, Commercial Business head of South region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Andhra University and an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
