Mehak Chawla appointed Communications Manager, Critical Incidents-Google Cloud
Chawla’s last stint was at Infosys as Lead- Corporate Communications, India
Mehak Chawla has been appointed Communications Manager, Critical Incidents-Google Cloud. She will be reporting into Head of Incident Management, Google Cloud, at their HQ in Sunnyvale.
In her current role, Chawla will be managing critical incidents communication for Google Cloud. This involves defining and executing a communications strategy, storytelling and crisis communications.
Chawla joins Google with over 12 years of diverse experience in journalism, public relations and corporate communications across different verticals of the industry. After being a technology and business journalist for over seven years, she took the corporate plunge in 2016 and joined Infosys as a brand and communications executive. After four years as Manager- Corporate Branding and Storytelling, she was elevated as the India Communications Lead for Infosys.
Prevously, she has managed the technology section for The Economic Times and reported for the Financial Express and Dataquest.
