‘Fiery Red’ Ford Endeavour – Special Edition hits Indian roads
Ford has announced the launch of a Ford Endeavour – Special Edition, designed for Asian markets, in India. The luxurious top end variant is being introduced in 'Fiery Red' with external features such as Jaws over rider, extra lockable wheel covers and rear watcher.

Announcing the launch, V Sivaramakrishnan, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing & Service, Ford India, said, “The Ford Endeavour leads the rapidly growing premium SUV segment in India. Now, with the Ford Endeavour – Special Edition, loaded with new exciting interior and exterior features adding to its commanding road presence, we will offer our customers a luxurious experience in India’s leading premium SUV market.”
To enhance the interiors, new additions include luxurious beige leather seat covers, rich wood panelling and carpet floor mats. The Ford Endeavour – Special Edition is available in 4X2 and 4X4 options.
The 4x2 version is priced at Rs 14.50 lakh, while the 4x4 version is priced at Rs 15.39 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new external features will reinforce the Ford Endeavour’s “tougher-than-any-other looks”, said a company release.
The company is planning to launch a revamped version of its best selling Ikon next year, and is working on a global car in the premium segment to be launched in late 2005.
