From ‘Modi Wash’ to ads asking ‘Mere vikas ka do hisaab’, there has been a flurry of political ads with parties taking potshots at each other
The Lok Sabha elections are around the corner and political parties are going full throttle, taking jibes on each other creatively.
While last week, it was BJP making a spoof on the I.N.D.I.A Alliance, this week it was the Indian National Congress’s turn that has released ads directed at the ruling party with the tagline ‘Mere vikas ka do hisaab’.

The Shiv Sena’s Washing Machine campaign is one such ad that talks about corruption and leaders switching parties.
Building on this narrative, the INC launched a video wherein we can see a party leader in a spoofed avatar showcasing a detergent to wash off corruption, scam, extortion, fraud, etc with ‘Modi Wash’ in a BJP ‘washing machine’.

The INC has changed its positioning with a new tagline ‘Haath Badlega Haalaat’. In 2019, their tagline was ‘Ab hoga nyay’. The BJP has just enhanced its earlier tagline to ‘Ab ki baar, 400 paar’.
