Shashi Sinha a consensus builder & a great support to the industry: Ad veterans

Shashi Sinha’s contribution to the ad industry is immense and his leadership spans bodies and associations. On the occasion of the AAAI lifetime achievement being conferred upon the IPG Mediabrands CEO, ad industry veterans shared their personal and professional connections with Sinha.

I have to say it was an ideal and unanimous choice. I think it’s wonderful for the industry as well as a pro for the agency. He has contributed so much of his personal time to industry associations and industry organisations. I do believe that as you get senior, you must spend some time giving back to the industry and Shashi has done a lot of that. He is a good consensus builder but not the aggressive sort, which is good.

We are delighted that Shashi Sinha has got the lifetime achievement award. He is one of the most honoured leaders in the Indian advertising industry. It was a unanimous choice because of his fabulous career. He's always been at the forefront of all industry bodies. I am very happy for him.

I think it is a great choice by AAAI. I have known Shashi for many years. We were part of the same group IPG, so part of the same family. We have done many social projects and pitches together. It is so easy to communicate with someone like Shashi, we don't have to meander too much with him. I have known him for a very long time. He is a great friend and a great partner too. He's very persuasive, very focused and warm - one of the best people I have known in this industry.
