Radio operators’ body forms committees to tackle various issues
The Association of Radio Operators of India has formed committees to tackle various issues such as government relations, music, internal affairs, finance, awards and events, and even ‘radio evangelising’. The committees would be headed by AROI members, with AROI Secretary General, Uday Chawla, being part of part of all the panels. All committees would submit their first reports to Apurva Purohit, AROI President, by mid-November.

Aditya Birla Group’s Birla Plus Cement renamed as UltraTech
Birla Plus Cements, a brand of Grasim Industries of the Aditya Birla Group, has been renamed as UltraTech, and would comprise 90 per cent of the Group’s total cement business under the new brand name, while the Group’s regional brands would account for rest of the business. The Group had acquired L&T Cement three years ago and had christened the acquired entity as UltraTech.
