Managing Director Ritu Dhawan has been given the additional responsibility of CEO, while Executive Director RK Arora as been given the additional charge of Chief Financial Officer. The first among the new appointments at the company is that of Manoj Sharma, who is joining as Group Business Head.

ESPN Star Sports and SingTel have announced the launch of ESPNEWS in Singapore, touted as the first 24x7 sports news channel specially dedicated to Asian sports fans, on SingTel’s mio TV platform. ESPNEWS is expected to be rolled out across other markets in the region, including India, in the coming months.

Network18 is reorganising the business broadcast operation of its group company TV18, which runs CNBC TV18 and CNBC Awaaz. The company expects to optimise approximately 20 per cent in annual operating costs via this restructuring.
