TikTok downloaded 1.5bn times till date, 6% more downloads than last year
Users of TikTok in India account for 31% of the short-form video app’s downloads
TikTok has been reported to have been downloaded 1.5 billion times till date, media reports said.
The app’s downloads are 6 per cent more than last year and has become the third most-downloaded app outside the gaming sector.
TikTok’s download count till February stood at 1 billion while so far this year it has been downloaded 614 million times, as per reports.
Users of TikTok in India account for 31 per cent of the app’s downloads.
TikTok has overtaken Instagram by 238 million downloads this year, media reports said.
