Team India will soon sport Byju’s instead of OPPO on their jersey, according to media reports.

Chinese mobile maker OPPO, which had bought the space with a winning bid of Rs 1079 crore in March 2017, has “relocated” the deal to Byju’s. OPPO will be seen on the team jersey only till the West Indies tour.

A report in a leading English daily claims that the development took nearly two weeks ago as OPPO now finds the charge as “extremely high” and “unsustainable”.

The report quoted a BCCI source as saying that the cricket board will continue to receive the same amount from Biju’s till the end of the deal in March 31, 2022.
