Siddhartha Sharma has been appointed as the Executive Editor at NDTV Auto. He brings with him over 14 years of experience spanning journalism, technology, and media.
Throughout his career, Sharma has worn many hats — as a creator, anchor, and strategist. He has contributed to several popular shows, including ET Now’s Technoholic, TV Today’s Gadgets & Gizmos, and Good News Today. During his time at Network18, he launched India’s first digital-first auto and tech show on CNN-News18. At The Quint, he pioneered new storytelling formats such as VR reviews, mobile-first videos, and selfie interviews.
In his previous role at Jagran New Media, Sharma led high-impact branded storytelling campaigns for major brands like Apple, Hyundai, Porsche, BMW, Samsung, and Ford. His recent stint in Canada broadened his expertise further, adding digital strategy, client development, and cross-cultural insights to his portfolio.
At NDTV Auto, Siddhartha will focus on transforming the platform into a more intelligent, engaging, and future-ready destination — one that explores stories around mobility, design, sustainability, and innovation with depth and creativity.
Rahul Kanwal, CEO & Editor-in-Chief of NDTV, said, “Siddhartha brings a unique mix of creative vision and deep industry knowledge to NDTV. He goes beyond reviewing cars — he explores the culture, design, and emotion that fuel innovation. His approach will add fresh energy and perspective to our storytelling.”
Sharing his excitement, Siddhartha Sharma added, “NDTV has always set the standard for credible and meaningful auto journalism in India. Joining NDTV Auto at a time when mobility is evolving through technology and sustainability is truly exciting. I look forward to shaping the next chapter of this journey.”
