Even as the dust never seems to settle on TOI-HT print wars, another battle is raging on in Delhi, this one is between Delhi and Central government. The message is loud and clear, both are questioning each other’s governance accomplishments.

Recently, Aam Aadmi Party roll out a TVC highlighting the work it has done since coming into power. They ran a campaign saying ‘Wo pareshan karte rahe, Hum Kam Karte rahe’. Going further AAP put out hoardings saying, “Pradhan Mantri Sir, Please Delhi Sarkar ko kaam karne dijiye, Delhi sarkar theek kaam kar rahi hai.”

Replying to that Bhartiya Janta Party also rolled out poster saying,” Kejriwal Sir, the things the Delhi CM could have done with Rs 526 crore the state government had budgeted for its advertisements.”

The ad points out that the Delhi government has spent advertisement budget of Rs 526 crore on promotions. They could have installed 5 lakh cameras, women’s security could have been bettered, 200 new schools and 50 new colleges could have been opened for student’s brighter future.”

Media reports suggest that Delhi Unit chief Satish Upadhyay has said that Arvind Kejriwal should explain the advertising expenditure including TV ad, FM, OOH in all the cities such as Bombay, Kolkata, Patna.

Last week Delhi High Court has asked AAP for details of ad spends.
