Rahul Khona has rejoined Starbucks India as Chief Technology Officer, marking a return to the organisation where he previously served as Chief Information Officer and Head of Digital Innovation from 2013 to 2018.
Khona announced the move in a LinkedIn post, describing it as a ‘full circle’ moment. Khona brings more than 21 years of experience in technology leadership and digital transformation.
Prior to his latest stint at Starbucks, he held the role of Director of Technology (CIO) at Tim Hortons for the Southeast Asia region.
Earlier in his career, he has worked with organisations including Nexus Malls, Hardcastle Restaurants Pvt Ltd, Reliance Brands Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra and Reliance Communications.
