The past week has seen some interesting happenings, Google incurring a hefty fine of Rs. 137 crores by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) made headlines, while Umang Bedi, former Managing Director of Facebook- India and South Asia joined the news conglomerate Dailyhunt as its new President. This week also saw the retirement of T R Gopalakrishnan, Editor-in-Charge of the renowned The Week magazine, while the world wide advertising agency BBDO tops the The Gunn Report- a global index of creative excellence in advertising. As the week wound to a close, the much awaited Pitch Madision Advertising Report 2018 event was held on the 15th February.
