Recap brings you a round up of the important stories that made headlines this week.
This past week the Cambridge Analytica Facebook data breach continued to dominate headlines, as Facebook Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified in front of the House Energy and Commerce Committee on Wednesday, the second day of Congressional hearings. The 11th season of Indian Premier League was also much in the news as brands such as LinkedIn, Amazon, Coca Cola and Hotstar, and many others worked to take advantage of the immense popularity of the mega cricketing event.
On Wednesday, the Golden Mikes Jury also announced their final shortlist of entries for the Best Indian Radio Ads for the upcoming Golden Mikes Awards to be held on 19th April, 2018. Also, this week saw Eros Now’s former Business Head Zulfiqar Khan joined HOOQ India as Managing Director.
As the week drew to a close, news that Jagdish Chandra quit Zee Media as its CEO of Regional News Network also made headlines.
