The report will put the COVID-19 impact on AdEx into perspective, and also present a forecast for H2 2020
The Pitch Madison Advertising Report Mid-Year Review, 2020 will be unveiled today, revealing the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown has had on India’s AdEx this year. In addition, the report will also present the outlook for H2 2020. As is customary, the report will be unveiled by Madison World’s Chairman and Managing Director, Sam Balsara.
Given the hours of painstaking research that goes behind putting together this report, it is not surprising to see why it has become a benchmark for the industry. The report is launched by Pitch, in partnership with Madison World. This will be the first forum in the Indian media and advertising sector to quantify the impact of the pandemic on AdEx this year.
While the report earlier this year predicted a 10.4% growth in 2020 for the ad market, the COVID-19 setback has brought about an extraordinary impact on businesses and on AdEx. The report will reveal the extent of the impact and projections for the latter half of the year.
