Zahid Javali, Chief of Bureau with Explocity Bangalore till end-2005, has joined the editorial team at Mid Day Multimedia Ltd in Bangalore. Javali was with Explocity since 1996, and had handled the group’s publications, including the erstwhile City Reporter, Bangalore City Info, Café Beat, and Investalk (the in-house journal of the Dubai Investment Group). Sources indicated that he would don the mantle of City Editor for the group’s forthcoming Bangalore edition, reporting into Anil Thakraney. When contacted, Javali refused comment.
