Viacom18 has named its GEC ‘Colors’. Announcing this in Bangkok, Rajesh Kamat, CEO, Colors, explained that emotions were the key to target the Indian audience, and that the channel would look at capturing the various shades of human emotions in this channel. Channel officials informed that they were targeting July 2008 for launching the channel.

Bajpai has been specially inducted to add punch to the new direction that Zee News would be taking following its relaunch. He would be directly reporting to Group Editor, BV Rao.

Main Issue garnered a high share of 81% of overall Newspaper advertising during Q1 2008. In this period, ad volumes of Radio Channel promotions in Print were twice that of Q1 2007, whereas TV Channel promotions grew by 43%. Sales Promotional ads had 15% share in total Print ads during Q1 2008.
