Tata Capital has assigned its media duties to Lintas Media Group (LMG), which includes the digital side of the business as well. The company has also appointed Leo Burnett as its creative agency. It is understood that Leo Burnett was awarded the business in July 2008, but LMG has come on board recently. Industry sources have pegged the account size upwards of Rs 40 crore.

O&M has bagged the creative duties of IDBI Bank Ltd. The agency will be handling the corporate and product advertisements for IDBI, which had recently revamped its business and organisation structure. The strategic repositioning of the brand would be further aided by O&M through appropriate communication. Maxus is the media agency.

The agency that handles the largest advertiser in India, Hindustan Unilever, has now appointed Jignesh Ghelani as Buying Head. Ghelani would report to Roy, who in turn reports to MindShare India MD R Gowthaman.

Lintas Media Group (LMG) Delhi has been awarded media mandate for Jindal Stainless Group, the flagship company of the $10 billion multi-product, multi-location OP Jindal Steel conglomerate. The account size is pegged at Rs 25 crore. This is the first time that Jindal Stainless has hired a media agency.

The move reiterates the growth of digitisation in the Indian television industry. TAM Media Research announced this at the TAM Educate Seminar – Blink that took place in Mumbai on August 26.
