Shortlists for the Media Abbys were announced on March 18. This year, a total of 87 entries have been shortlisted, 10 more that the 77 shortlisted entries last year. In all, there are 14 categories this year. The Media Abbys will be held on April 9 during GoaFest 2010 at its new venue at Utorda Beach in South Goa.
Nimbus Communications has signed a deal with Times Group, wherein the latter will acquire a small ownership stake in Nimbus and its associate company, Neo Sports. As part of the terms, Nimbus and Neo Sports will leverage the various media vehicles across Times Group to advertise its sports and broadcasting businesses.
